I’m Janey, founder of Janey Larsen Design
I’ve been interior design obsessed pretty much my whole life so it’s no surprise to anyone that its the path I am taking. I studied Business at University and majored in Sports Marketing, before completing 3 years of Interior Design in Auckland. Based in Auckland and operating since 2012, I specialise in mostly residential projects.
The rooms I create are elegant, interesting, easy and comfortable. I use materials and textures that are natural favouring stone, timber and fabrics such as linens, velvets, wools and silks. Muted, calm and natural colours dominate my interior palette punctuated with startling combinations of colour, art and shape which add drama and contrast. I want my client’s to come home each day to a beautiful environment that delights and inspires them, a home they feel truly comfortable in.
